Run for the Roses Wine and Beer Tasting
The Pinehurst Fair Barn was the venue for the 13th annual Run for the Roses event on Friday, May 4. Event guests enjoyed wine tastings courtesy of Mutual Distributing Company, beer samplings provided by the Sly Fox Pub, and delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by chefs from 15 area restaurants. Musical entertainment performed by the Court Stewart Jazz Group, and a Kentucky Derby-themed hat contest, were also features of the evening. All proceeds will benefit the Sandhills Children’s Center.
