Union Pines earned a 6-4 win over Pinecrest Friday at Viking Field in the semifinals of the Chatlee Boat and Marine Easter Invitational. The tilt was the rubber match in the cross-county season series with 4-A Pinecrest winning the first game by a 12-9 margin in Southern Pines, and Union Pines taking the second meeting by a 10-9 tally in Cameron.
