The Holly & Ivy Dinner
An elegant five-course Christmas Dinner Party Pinehurst, Circa 1920s, featuring dancing, flappers, bootleggers, gangsters, great jazz, and celebrity ghosts of Christmas Past, was hosted by Jim “Al Capone” Dodson, and was held at the Cardinal Ballroom (Special Speakeasy Entrance) of The Carolina Hotel on Tuesday, December 6. The dinner menu was created by Chef Thierry Debailleul, and dance music was performed by The Swing-a-roos. This event was sponsored by PineStraw Magazine and Pinehurst Resort, as a special benefit for the Given Memorial Library & Tufts Archives. Photos by Al and Annette Daniels
