Are You Smarter Than a Moore County Schools’ 5th Grader – Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade questions on history, language arts, math, and science, were on the agenda for the first “Are You Smarter Than a Moore County Schools’ 5th Grader” event presented by the Moore County Public Education Foundation, and held at the Owens Auditorium of Sandhills Community College, on Thursday, November 17. The twelve Moore County elementary school student representatives were divided into six teams each having two adult celebrity guests. Numerous Moore County businesses and individuals sponsored this “spirited” event.
