Miles Baldwin directs traffic at the end of a school day at Pinehurst Elementary School. He is a volunteer with a new program through the Pinehurst Police Department called Citizens Patrol.

The program is built through the department's Citizen's Police Academy, which held classes last spring and fall. Those who complete the course and who are interested in assisting the police are given the opportunity to join the CP program.
