Kim Wade stands next to what was once a dentist office, a gas station and a fruit and vegetable stand at various periods. H.C.F. Williams owned and operated the fruit and vegetable stand, where Wade remembers her mother going to get produce. Members of the community are leading an effort to restore the building and turn it into a museum that will display the history of West Southern Pines.
