Major Damage--Firefighters battle a blaze Aug. 21 at a home on Henderson Road off Union Church Road in Vass. Heavy smoke was coming from the wood-framed home when the first units arrived. The fire was reported around 9 a.m. The home sustained extensive damage. No one was in the home at the time of the fire. There was no word on the cause of the fire. Published on September 10, 2012 |
