Viking Girls Play in Second Round Tonight
The Union Pines Lady Vikings opened the first round of the state 3-A basketball playoffs with a 52-33 victory over Triton Monday in Cameron. The Vikings will travel to fourth seed Asheboro (21-6) tonight for a round-two playoff tilt.
