Lead prosecutor Peter Strickland meets with media following the guilty verdict in the Pinelake murder trial. Robert Stewart got a minimum sentence of 131 years in prison for eight second-degree murders.

The jury did not find Robert Kenneth Stewart guilty of first-degree murder, but of murder in the second degree. He will not now risk any sentence of death, but his sentences totaled well over 130 years at a minimum.

NOW EVERYONE HAS HAD THEIR SAY AND IS ANGRY AT THE SYSTEM. NOW TELL HOW MANY OF YOU AGREE THAT IF THIS HAD BEEN A BLACK MAN DID THIS CRIME HE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE CHAIR? AND EVERYONE WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY.
