Father Figure: Priest Like a Father to Spanish-Speaking Parishioners

His title is Father. His calling is the priesthood. But his job requires advising, guiding and supervising young people in a new environment, as would a family member.

Indeed he was more than a priest he was a role model and the one to go to when you had troubles. I called him father, he was there for me at my best and worst times he never turned the other way he was like a dad a friend and I his son. He always gave me advice and was up to date on how I was doing. He knew when I was bothered with something he could see it in me if I didn't tell him he asked he cared about me and everyone in our parish. He was great and he will be truly missed.

Thank you Father
