The Moore County Airport will receive a $250,000 appropriation to draw down a $2.5 million state transportation grant to upgrade runways and ramp prior to the 2014 back-to-back U.S. Open tournaments.
Commissioners Hear About Airport Needs
Back-to-back U.S. Open golf tournaments are scheduled in 2014, but from the standpoint of the Moore County Airport Authority, the time is already here.
