Tyler's Ridge Hearing Set for Tonight
The Southern Pines Town Council has taken steps to ensure that a second public hearing on the proposed Tyler’s Ridge at Sandhills development runs more smoothly than the first. The public hearing on the initial application for a conditional use permit for the mixed-use development lasted until 2:30 a.m. the next day and had to be continued until the next monthly meeting.
Southern Pines Takes New Look at Rules
Everyone has an opinion of the Southern Pines Unified Development Ordinance, which has come under more intense scrutiny in the wake of its role in derailing the Tyler’s Ridge mixed-use development.
