Dora Wallace Cagle 91, of Robbins, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Unity Grove Baptist Church, where she was a charter member, with the Rev. Terry Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Cagle was a native of Moore County. Dora worked at Robbins Mill and Ithaca Industries. She attended church faithfully as long as her health allowed. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Cagle; mother, Cora Wallace Britt; sisters, Helen “Tootie” Gordon and Jane Brady; and brother, Robert Britt.
Dora is survived by her daughter, Vickie Cox and husband, Greg, of Robbins; grandchildren, Donavon and Casey Cox; great-grandchildren, Levi and Mason Cox, Brooklyn Moore; brother, Roy Britt and wife, Betty; and sister, Ester Hussey and husband, Charlie.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, and at other times at the home.
