SANDBERG

Phyllis Sandberg, 90, of Akron, Ohio, died on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at FirstHealth Hospice House, in Pinehurst.
Mrs. Sandberg was born Aug. 22, 1922, to Minot and Winogene Baldwin. She married Robert Leonard Sandberg in 1946 and was always grateful to become part of a large family after growing up as an only child. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage. She was a devoted caregiver to him until his death in 2008.
Phyllis relocated to Pinehurst in 2011 and resided at the Fox Hollow Senior Living Community.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Dwyer and husband, Gene, of Naples, Fla., Trina Dannecker and husband, Steve, of Petoskey, Mich., and Teri Kilarski and husband, David, of Pinehurst; and grandchildren, Kevin, David and Kate Dwyer, Michael, Peter, and James Dannecker, and Devin and Amy Kilarski.
