Frances Nall Brewer Rush, 80, of Eagle Springs, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, where she was a lifetime member, with the Rev. Billy Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Phillips Funeral Home, Star.
Mrs. Rush was born Jan. 4, 1933, to John and Luella McNeill Nall. She graduated from Biscoe High School in 1951 and Jones Business School in High Point. She retired as a seamstress and homemaker. She loved to work in her garden and spend time crocheting and quilting.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Vernon L. Brewer and Ted M. Rush; brothers, Roland Nall, Roger Nall and Ralph Nall; and sister, Betty Jean Davis.
She is survived by her children, Wanda B. Britt and husband, Parker, of Star, Craig V. Brewer and wife, Loretta, of Eagle Springs, Sherry B. Lovell and husband, David, of Eagle Springs, and Janet B. Smith and husband, Wesley, of Robbins; grandchildren, William Britt, Richard Smith, Brandon Britt and wife, Maranda, Amanda Britt, Nicholas Smith and Sarah Smith; great-grandchildren, Natalie Smith and Harlin Britt; brothers Ray Nall and wife, Flossie, of Eagle Springs, and Richard Nall, of Eagle Springs; and sister, Mary Nall Greene and husband, Wayne, of Seagrove.
