Peggy Lou Kimball Prince, 72, of Vass, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Sonya and Alan Potter, 140 Peterbilt Drive, Carthage. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Johnson Grove Cemetery with Pastor John Brown and Pastor Paul McClure officiating.
She was born Oct. 28, 1940, in Moore County, to the late William James Kimball and Margaret Crabtree Kimball Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Prince Sr.; and a son, Tony Kevin Prince.
Mrs. Prince is survived by one son, Charles Ray Prince Jr., of Sanford; two daughters, Cherrie Prince Oldham and husband, Wade, of Bear Creek, and Sonya Prince Potter and husband, Alan, of Carthage; one brother, William Hurbert Kimball, of Vass; one sister, Rebecca Carrington, of Southern Pines; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
