Lucille Schatmeyer Buschmann, of Seven Lakes, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.
A New Jersey native, she attended Paterson schools, and had lived in Hawthorne, Maywood and the Princeton area of New Jersey before moving to the Sandhills of North Carolina in 1986.
She had been an active member of the Embroiderer’s Guild of America chapters in Bergen County and in Princeton, where her work hung in juried shows. She had also been a member of the American Needlepoint Guild, Sandhills Chapter, Pinehurst.
She was the daughter of the late Anna Jonker Schatmeyer and the late Jacob Schatmeyer, of Paterson. She is survived by her husband, Edgar; two sons, Jeffrey, of California, and Jonathan, of Milan, Italy; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements were private.
