Kenneth C. Davis

Kenneth C. Davis, 80, of Aberdeen, formerly of Red Springs, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2013, at FirstHealth Hospice House, in Pinehurst, with his family by his side.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Page Memorial United Methodist Church, in Aberdeen. The burial service will be held privately by the family. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and at other times at the home.
Kenneth was born March 11, 1932, in Hoke County, to the late Thomas Franklin Davis Sr. and Fannie Frankie Currie Davis. He was well-loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Frances “Fran” Bobbitt Davis; three daughters, Becky Davis, of Billings, Mont., Jenny MacInnes and husband, Bruce, of Sanford, and Susan Anderson and husband, Roger, of Asheville; eight grandchildren, Ben, David and his wife, Lindsey, Daniel, Thomas and his wife, Melissa, Matthew, Lindsey, Taylor and Jake; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Aubrey; his brother, Jerry Davis and wife, Barbara, of Texas; and a sister, Bennie Lee Turbeville, of Raleigh.
