Stanley Gene Black, 74, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.
A private service for the family was held on Saturday, Feb. 2, at Brush Arbor Cemetery, on Beulah Hill Church Road.
Born in Moore County, he was a specialty brick mason, truck driver and landscape manager.
He was preceded in death by his son Derek Black; his parents; and his brother Randolph Black.
He is survived by his son Forrest Black; grandson, Drew Black; granddaughter, Ashlee Black; sisters, Millie Cole and Linda Dunn; brothers Carson (Tom) Black and Charles Howard Black; and ex-wife, Carol Black.
