Etta W. Summers, 78, of Aberdeen, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Church of Christ, 516 Union Church Road, Carthage. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Simon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Southern Pines.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Summers; children, Thomasina Hines, Charlotte, Diane, Dorlene, Elaine, Junior, Tyrone, Jeffrey, Daniel, and Willie Waddell; sisters, Bernice Ross and Vestoria Grooms; 26 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
