Harvey Eli Hartsell, 76, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012.
Mr. Hartsell was born Oct. 13, 1935, to the late Melvin and Violet Hartsell, of West End. After serving his country in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years, he retired as a technical sergeant and worked for the Panama City Housing Authority. He was a lifetime member of Parkway Presbyterian Church and in his leisure time loved woodworking projects.
He is survived by his bride of 51 years, Betty Hartsell; three daughters, Robyn Stoddard and David, Cathy Hartsell and Becky Hartsell; grandchildren, Alex Stoddard and Leah Rise; two sisters, Ruby Williams and Went, and Sandra Prete and Frank; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Covenant Hospice Inpatient Care Center Bay Medical, 3 South 615 N. Bonita, Panama City, FL 32401.
