Patricia “Pat” Garner Sanders, 67, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Kennedy Funeral Home, Robbins, with the Rev. Ronny Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 12 p.m.
Mrs. Sanders was a native of Moore County, a daughter of the late Jim and Mary Maness Garner. Prior to retiring, she worked in hospitality and transportation for the Carolina Hotel (previously called the Pinehurst Hotel) and was assistant director at the Douglass Center in Southern Pines.
Pat is survived by sons Joel Sanders, of Southern Pines, and Jeff Sanders and wife, Amy, of Reedsburg, Wis.; grandchildren, Christina, Brandon, Megan, Zachary and Morgan; great-grandchild, Chloe; sister, Libby Mantle and husband, Buzz, of Carthage; and nephew, Chris Cockman.
Memorials may be made to the Patricia “Pat” Sanders Memorial Fund at any First Bank Branch.
