Dianne E. Castellanos
Dianne Elizabeth Castellanos, 50, of Seven Lakes, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, in Lumberton.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, in Pinehurst, with the Rev. Edward J. Burch officiating. Rite of committal will be held at a later date, in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta, Ga.
Ms. Castellanos was born Jan. 23, 1962, in Washington, D.C., to Felix Castellanos and Elizabeth (Brown) Parker. Her life revolved around her love for her son, Nicholas. She was currently attending UNC Pembroke, pursuing a bachelor’s in nursing and maintaining a 4.0 average thus far in her pursuit. She was a member of Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church in Candor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Felix Castellanos; a sister, Lisa Castellanos Smith; and her stepfather, William L. Parker Sr.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas Andrew Fidandis, of West End; her mother, Elizabeth B. Parker; a sister, Linda Castellanos Dobbs, of Moorestown, N.J.; her ex-husband, Andrew N. Fidandis, of West End; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Nicholas A. Fidandis Scholarship Fund at BB&T Bank in Seven Lakes.
