Mae Ruth McTillman, 79, of Carthage, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Reaves Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, in Goldston. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Pugh and Smith Funeral Home, Carthage.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonya McTillman; son, Chuck McTillman; three brothers, Robert Reives (Jariette), Johnnie Reives (Evelyn) and Justus Reives; five grandchildren; and special friend Henry Kelly.
