Dr. Dennis D. Bell passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at his residence.
A celebration of life service was held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Pinehurst United Methodist Church, with Pastor David Beam officiating. The family received friends following the service.
Dr. Bell is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carnetta B. Bell; daughter Denise Graner and her husband, Wes Graner, of Pinehurst; son Brian Bell and his wife, Jennifer Bell, of Apex; his sister, Carolyn Spicer; and children Roger Bell, Mary Lou Goveia and Robert Bell; and many grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines is assisting the family.
