Mary Christelle Copley Pilson, 91, of Cameron, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at FirstHealth Hospice House, in Pinehurst.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the family home.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Keith Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Fork Christian Church Cemetery, with Eastern Star Rites.
Mrs. Pilson was born Feb. 20, 1921, in Guilford County, to the late Walter A. Copley and Rena Bean Copley. She was a member of Eastern Star Magnolia Chapter No. 26 in Southern Pines for more than 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dave Pilson; and by several brothers and sisters. She is survived by a son, Paul Dave Pilson Jr. and wife, Peggy, of Washington, N.C.; daughter, Barbara Dickerson and husband, James, of Cameron; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
