A memorial service for Harvey Hartsell will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at “The Barn,” located on the farm of his late Uncle Marvin Hartsell (4248 Hoffman Road, Jackson Springs, NC 27281, across from “Barn” sign).
A private burial at Culdee Presbyterian Church will precede the memorial service.
Harvey, a longtime resident of Panama City, Fla., was born and raised in West End, the son of Violet and Melvin Hartsell.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Robyn and her husband, David Stoddard, Cathy and her husband, Kenny Bowman, and Becky Hartsell; and sisters, Sandra Prete and Ruby Williams.
