Raymond Librandi

Raymond Librandi, 77, of Pinebluff, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Boles Funeral Home, in Southern Pines, with a celebration of life service beginning at 7:30.
He was born in Stamford, Conn., to Mary and Rocco Librandi, of New Canaan, Conn.
Mr. Librandi retired from First District Water Co. in New Canaan prior to moving to North Carolina. He was very active with the Animal Advocates of Moore County and volunteered at PetSmart. He was a former member of the Lions Club of Pinebluff and volunteered with the food bank.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah Librandi , of Pinebluff; his son, Gary Librandi, of Norwalk, Conn.; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Sandy Wollman, of Rye, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Sandra Librandi, of Lauf, Germany, and Sydney Wollman and Zachery Wollman of Rye. Also surviving are his aunts, Joan Chiello, Carmella Kosinski and cousin John Kosinski, of Stamford; aunt Gloria Chiello, and cousins, Pat and spouse Phil Phillips, of Southern Pines, Michael J. Chiello, of Palm Bay, Fla., Debbie Lucas, Craig Chiello and Wayne Chiello of Stamford; uncle Anthony Chiello, of Phoenix; stepchildren, Joseph Greene, Vanessa Greene and Daniel Greene, of Bridgeport, Conn., Darrell Greene, of Norwalk, and Jeanatte Gantt, of Stamford.
