Grace P. Styers, 90, of Aberdeen, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at First Pentecostal Church, in Aberdeen, with the Rev. Horace E. Warwick officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery, in Aberdeen. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Boles Funeral Home, in Pinehurst.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kellis Eie and Minnie Coe Peele; her husband, Fred Styers Sr.; son Fred Styers Jr.; daughter Hazel Marie Styers; and great-granddaughter Brittney Ruticna-Aparoj.
She is survived by her son, Richard Styers and wife, Donna, of Aberdeen; daughters, Teresa Jones, of Aberdeen, Susan Johnson and husband, Lanny, of Eastwood, Frances Everett and husband, Robert, of Aberdeen, and Sandra Garner, of Aberdeen; daughter-in-law, Jo Styers, of Southern Pines; sister Ruby Cameron, of Sanford; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
