Mary Ann Gibson Baker, 50, of Rochester, N.Y., formerly of the Jackson Hamlet community, Aberdeen, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, in Rochester.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Southern Pines Primary School auditorium. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct., 5, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, in Jackson Hamlet. Burial will be in the Jackson Hamlet Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 312 Gaines St., in Jackson Hamlet.
She is survived by her daughter, Khendra Baker; son, Larry Baker Jr.; brothers, John York, George, Jerry, Charles, Roger, Michael and Thomas Gibson; sisters, Sarah York, Carolyn Askins, Edith Morrison, Marie Webb and Annie Quick; and four grandchildren.
