Clarence Edward Matherson

Clarence Edward Matherson, 67, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at Zion Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, in Eagle Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Matherson; five sons, Craig and wife, Rose, of Troy, Ohio, Terrence, of Raleigh, Clarence Jr. and wife, Hannah, of Tempe, Ariz., Ryan and wife, Rochelle, of Holly Springs, and Eric, of the home; two daughters, Ivy, of Charlotte, and Jessica, of Abilene, Texas; two brothers, William Matherson and Stanley Matherson, both of Eagle Springs; sister, Linda Johnson and husband, James, of Holly Springs; and nine grandchildren.
R.C. Bostic Funeral Home, Candor, is serving the family.
