Bobby Gene Allen Sr., 45, of Lakeview, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Mr. Allen was predeceased by his loving adoptive father, Chuck Allen, of Lakeview. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Michael Minor, of Lakeview, and Frank Minor, of Robbins. Surviving is mother, Nancy Allen, of Lakeview; birth father, Bobby Minor, of Robbins; a son, Bobby Gene Allen Jr., of Southern Pines; and a daughter, Ariel Allen Parker, her husband, Arron Parker, and a grandson, Levi Parker, all of Pinebluff; brothers, Johnny Allen, of Pinebluff, Jimmy Minor, of Seagrove, Bobby Ray Minor, of Robbins, Greg Minor, of Seven lakes, Wally Minor, of Kernersville; sisters Penny Johnson, of Eastwood, Loretta Pilson, of Robbins, Sandra Williamson, of Robbins, Lynn Grant, of Asheboro; Lynn Warren, of Putnam.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at Highland Baptist Church, with pastors Barry Hinson and William Vaughn officiating. Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery. The family received friends after burial at Ariel Parker’s home in Pinebluff.
