Lacy K. Hare

Lacy Kendrick Hare, 80, of Robbins, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at FirstHealth Hospice House, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Bascom Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Phillips Funeral Home, Star.
He was born in Moore County to F.S. and Minnie Brown Hare, and was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, sisters and their spouses, Norman (Tommay) Hare, Alton (Hazel) Hare, Marvin (Amy) Hare, Ruby (Johnnie) Comer, Edna (Bill) Cagle, Odie Hare, and Albert (Minnie Bell and Mildred) Hare; brothers-in-law, Junior Miller and Ray Cole; and sister-in-law LaRue Hare.
He is survived by his lifelong friend, Edith Cagle; her children, Frankie Cagle and Nancy Williams; brother Russell Hare, of Star; sisters Dorothy Miller, of Robbins, and Mary Cole, of Hampton, Va.; sister-in-law Marie; 22 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
