Evelyn Blue Simon, 75, of Upper Marlboro, Md., formerly of Jackson Springs, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Southern Maryland Hospital, in Clinton, Md.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.Tuesday, May 22, at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church, in Ellerbe. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle and Gwendolyn Simon; sisters, Finis Terry and Doris Cox; brother, Howard Blue; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
