Robert H. “Bobby” Roybal Jr. died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home, in Carthage, with the Rev. Archie Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 18, at the funeral home, and after the service at 820 Stage Road, Carthage.
He loved his family and dear friends who stayed by his side through thick and thin and is going to be missed dearly by all. He loved gardening, cooking and riding his Harley with his dad and friends.
He has left in grief his mother, Betty Lee, of Ellerbe; his father, Robert Roybal Sr., of Carthage; a brother, Scott Roybal; his sister, Yvette Stepnoski; his beautiful and dear daughter, Brittany Roybal; his granddaughter, Makayla; and nephews, Josh, Ethan and Carson. He also leaves behind his constant companion and beloved dog, Chico, and his two feline friends, Co-Co and Little Bit.
