Vivian Shields McMillen, 84, of Eagle Springs, passed peacefully into the Lord’s hands Thursday, May 10, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, at the Smith family cemetery.
She was born May 26, 1927, in Daytona Beach, Fla. She retired from Eastern Airlines after many happy years of service and travel. Her loves were her family, friends, reading, gardening and her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lettra and Herbert Shields; and her brother, Bill Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Wilt and husband, Dan, and grandson, Daniel, all of Eagle Springs.
