James “Jimmy” Soles, 52, of Raeford, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his home.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, May 14, at the Crumpler Funeral Home chapel, with Jere Lee McClendon officiating.
Mr. Soles was born in Moore County Oct. 14, 1959. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had been currently employed with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Douglas Soles; and stepfather, Dr. Riley Jordan. Survivors include a son, Christopher James Soles, of Raeford; his mother, Lyda W. Jordan, of Southern Pines; a sister, Karen Larsen and her husband, Dr. Eric Larsen, of West End; his companion, Cathy James, of Raeford; and two nephews, Jason Kennedy and Joey Kennedy, both of Wilmington.
