Dr. Diane Honeycutt

Dr. Diane Honeycutt, 65, of Hamlet, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at First United Methodist Church, in Hamlet, with the Rev. Ken Buckingham and the Rev. Adolf Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond Memorial Park. The family received friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Cole Auditorium of Richmond Community College in Hamlet.
Dr. Honeycutt served as president of Richmond Community College from 2001 to 2008.
Dr. Honeycutt is survived by her mother, Alma Kendall; a sister, Sue Tunstall and husband, Randy, of Hamlet; a brother, John Kendall and wife, Hazel, of Greenville; niece, Suzanne Tunstall Walker and husband, Holt; nephews, Stuart Tunstall Jr., and Michael James Kendall; and great-nieces and nephews, Blake and Lauren Walker, and Taylor and Layla Kendall. She was preceded in death by her father, Jasper John Kendall; and a niece, Sarah Ruth Daniels.
