Pauline Velma Moore, 80, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital, in Troy.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at New Testament Baptist Church, with the Rev. Darrin Richardson and the Rev. Edwin Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, at the church, and at other times at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Edwin Moore, 399 Baxter Road, Robbins.
Mrs. Moore was a native of Des Moines, Iowa, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed caring for her family and spending time with friends. Her son John Lynn Moore and daughter, Peggy Williams, preceded her in death.
Pauline is survived by her husband, James L. Moore; son Ray Evans Moore, of Robbins; grandchildren, Eric Moore, of Chapel Hill, and Christian and Casey Williams, of Robbins; nephew, Forest Moreland Jr., of Illinois; and nieces, Patty Cotton, of Indiana, and Penny Moreland, of Illinois.
