Linda Hinton Gillis

Linda Hinton Gillis, 60, of Aberdeen, died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Aberdeen. Visitation will be held from 1:15 to 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Southern Pines.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny; son, Rodney Gillis (Danita); daughter, Keysha Cox (Brent); mother, Georgia Hinton; brothers, Larry, Ronald and Cedric Hinton; sisters, Carolyn Latchman and Kary Hailey; special granddaughter, Kadiedra Gillis and five other grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
