Patricia W. Plessinger, 58, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, after her battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Stalnaker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Patricia was born Aug. 26, 1953, in Elizabethtown.
She survived by her husband, Billy Plessinger; son, John Johnson; and stepchildren and grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Lorraine Richardson, of Carthage; a brother, James J. Richardson, of Bolivia, N.C.; and sisters, Carol Richardson, of Carthage, Elaine Gouker, of Robbins, Bonnie Garin, of Reston, Va., and Betty Aldred, of Williamsburg, Va.
