Edward Mason McLaughlin Jr.

Edward Mason McLaughlin Jr., of Catonsville, Md., formerly of Raeford, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Burial will follow at the McLaughlin family cemetery in West Hoke County, Raeford.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. today (Sunday, March 11) at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg.
Mr. McLaughlin is survived by his wife, Elder Mary L. Simmons-McLaughlin, D.M.; daughter, Rachelle McLaughlin-Cox; son, Edward Mason McLaughlin III; sisters, Mernelle Baxter, Hazelle (Amos) Coleman, Elma O. (James) Gilchrist and Geraldine (James) Daniels; brothers, Frank (Gwyn) Purcell and William W. (Theresa) McLaughlin.
