Bonnie Lee Cokely, of Vass, died Thursday March 8, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, at Johnson-Grove Cemetery, in Vass, with the Rev. Archie Stevens officiating.
Bonnie loved spending her time crocheting blankets for anyone who wanted one. She had a bright spirit with a kind and generous heart.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Donald Cokely; daughters, Stacey Pierson, Julie Gibson and husband, Jimmy, and Kelly Hayes and husband, Tony; sisters, Janet Crosby, Betty Layton and husband, Andy, and Emily Duncan and husband, Richard; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Maurice Allen Pierson Jr.; and two grandchildren.
