Worthy Jefferson Patterson, of Red Springs, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, in Raeford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg.
He is survived by his daughter, Annie Patterson Pleasant, of Raeford; sister-in-law, Ruth Patterson; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
