Mildred Monroe Nealy, of Aberdeen, died Saturday, March 3, 2012.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Nashville Baptist Church, in Marston. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation was held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Purcell Funeral Home, in Southern Pines.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Monroe, of Aberdeen; five grandchildren, Barbara Monroe and Lora Campbell, both of Aberdeen, Jeanette Bailey, Jewel Monroe and Jantine Monroe, all of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a sister, Sarah Johnson, of Amityville, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Grace Campbell, of Aberdeen; seven great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter; and six step-grandchildren.
