Annie Ruth Jackson Dick, 68 of Aberdeen, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Deep Creek Baptist Church, in Pinehurst, with Pastor Bryan Maness officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Boles Funeral Home, in Pinehurst.
Mrs. Dick was born April 8, 1943, in Pinehurst, to the late James Alexander Jackson and Ruth Birdie (Cox) Jackson.
Mrs. Dick was a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church. She worked for Gulistan Carpet in Aberdeen for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Dick is survived by her husband of 32 years, Harry M. Dick; a son, Scott Hawks and wife, Brenda, of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Mary Faye Taylor and husband, James, of West Point, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Samantha, Sarah and William Hawks.
