Alvin L. Seawell
Alvin Linton Seawell, 77, of Asheboro, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital, in Greensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at at Kennedy Funeral Home, in Robbins, with the Rev. Brent Seawell, of Bailey’s Grove Baptist Church, and Mack Beck officiating. Music will be provided by Carol Stephenson. The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Seawell was a member of Bailey Grove Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force and also served as a Methodist minister, was self-employed in the drywall business, and was an insurance agent with Liberty Life.
He was a son of the late Homer Franklin and Ethel Pearl Williams Seawell. His brother June Seawell also preceded him in death.
Alvin is survived by his children, Pamela S. Wallace and husband, Chris, of Asheboro, Chanda S. Leonard and husband Chad, of Bennett, Steven P. Seawell, of Asheboro, and Jason D. Seawell and wife, Jamie, of Asheboro; their mother, Peggy Beck Seawell; and grandchildren Wendy Baker, Dalton Seawell, Christian Wallace and Carley Leonard.
