Florence Caddell McNeill, 86, of Vass, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, in Elizabethton, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Halls Memorial Church, with the Rev. John Stinnett officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boles Funeral Home, in Pinehurst.
Mrs. McNeill was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Moore County, to the late James and Julia Honeycutt Caddell. She was a member of Halls Memorial Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Becky McNeill; a son, Raymond G. McNeill; and a sister, Lula Medlin.
She is survived by her sons John Wayne McNeill, of Elizabethton, Tenn., and James Calvin McNeill, of Aberdeen; daughters, Brenda Ann Conner, of Carthage, Darlene Sullivan, of Elizabethton, and Nancy Sada, of Southport; 18 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
