Dianne Gathings Frye, 62, of West End, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at her home.
Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, in the Culdee Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Dianne was born Nov. 26, 1949, in Richmond County, to the late Leroy and Leona Williams Gathings. She worked in textiles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Wayne Frye; and two brothers, James “Cotton” Gathings and Samuel Gathings.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia K. Frye, of Robbins, and Margaret “Sissy” Shoemake, of Laurinburg; a sister, Linda Kay McDonald, of Panama City Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Russell-Marks Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Rockingham is assisting the family.
