Christa Faith McNeill, 21, of Bennett, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Beulah Baptist Church, where she attended, with Dr. Neal Jackson and the Rev. Jamie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Joyce-Brady Chapel, Bennett, and other times at her residence.
Miss McNeill was born in Orange County and was a 2009 graduate of North Moore High School. She attended Sandhills Community College. She was in charge of the tire and auto department at the Siler City Walmart. She loved to cook, and she loved being around the water. Whether she was swimming or in the boat, she was happy.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Shelton; and grandfather, Wilton Strickland.
Miss McNeill is survived by her parents, Mike and Clara Shelton McNeill, of the home; brothers, Christopher and Steven McNeill, of the home; stepbrother, Jeremy Shelton, of Bennett; maternal grandparents, Thurman and step-grandmother Royalene Shelton, of Seagrove; and paternal grandmother, Etta Louise Strickland, of Aberdeen.
